Joel was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer at the age of just 28. He started a course of chemotherapy which sadly did not work and he passed away on 4 January 2017 surrounded by his family.

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation (the only charity in the UK to specialise in Lung Cancer) is not one of the most well known charities but they really need our help. Lung cancer is not very common in young people but this may suggest why there is a lack of research. Small cell lung cancer can affect anyone, of any age. Please help us to raise money for this fantastic charity for more research so others do not go through this horrible ordeal.
